The goal of my work is to communicate the entirety of my subject; not only its external appearance, but also internal anatomy, and cultural associations. This approach is a natural result of my interest in the arts and sciences, both of which I study at UNO.
My style is expressionist, combining elements of surrealism and impressionism. I am inspired by the mythology and history of various cultures, and also by nature, especially the microscopic realm. I illustrate myths and legends, rearrange everyday scenes into surreal dreamscapes, and interpret cellular processes through semi-abstraction.
